Salt from the Dead Sea contains more calcium and magnesium salts than normal sea salt. These minerals have a calming effect on the skin and encourage cell renewal. They are effective in retaining the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
In ancient times the healing effect of the Dead Sea was already renowned in the treatment of skin disease. Queens even came from far away to seek healing in the extremely salty water. There were already proper cure baths on the banks of the Dead Sea in those days.
The salt helps relieve many different skin diseases including neurodermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, acne and flaky skin.
