Contraindications:- Caution should be exercised when used in conjunction with CNS depressants or stimulants - Sage may aggravate the adverse effects of antituberculous drugs. It may interfere with anticoagulant therapy, oral antidiabetic medications, potential medications.
Sage has a “weak” oestrogen effect, as a precautionary measure, we would not recommend it within 5 years of having had breast cancer (Dr Lecomte).
